Detailed Description:
The eligible cultural landscape historic district on the Caltech campus includes features of the original Bertram Goodhue campus plan and gardens by Beatrix Jones Farrand (Dabney Hall) and Florence Yoch & Lucile Council (the Athenaeum).

Boundary Description:
The district is bound by East California Blvd. on the south, S. Wilson Avenue on the west, Lura Street on the north and a parcel line east of the Beckman Auditorium and S. Hill Avenues on the east.

The boundary includes the two main properties that comprise the historic Caltech campus and retain historic landscape & planning features.
