The Kubly House is an outstanding example of the International Style as it was practiced during the Mid-twentieth century, applied to a single-family residence. Designed by the locally significant architectural firm of Craig Ellwood & Associates, the house retains a high degree of integrity from the period of significance. Therefore, the Kubly House meets the criteria for listing National Register of Historic Places under Criterion 3: It embodies the distinctive characteristics of a significant architectural style, architect and period.
