Cottage Court at 642-654 South Marengo Avenue consists of seven simple Colonial Revival cottages, built in 1923, arranged in a “U” pattern. It was included in the thematic Bungalow Courts National Register listing. Identical gables with broad eaves and large rectangular vents face the courtyard, shelter recessed porches and are supported by columns, recalling the design of classical temple facades. There is one walkway through a narrow courtyard with two light standards.
