Resource Description: |
The focal point of this two-story Art Deco style building is its frieze of stylized flowers between the first and second stories. On either side of the second story are fluted pilasters topped with an abstract shell design in relief. One of the original owners, J.W. Wood, was a well-known druggist, realtor, and author of Pasadena history. The building also has a historic neon sign projecting perpendicular to the building face with a row of light bulbs along the outer edge of the angled sign cabinet.
