Although built late in the period of significance, as the trend for larger multi-family housing buildings in garden apartment complexes was superseding the earlier low-scale bungalow courts, these five Ranch style buildings surrounding a central courtyard includes features and finishes associated with the Colonia Revival style, including shingle siding, diamond-paned sash windows with shutters, red brick steps and flooring at the front porch, and a side-gabled roof with a rustic door at the ridgeline. This bungalow court is named for its original owners, Ernest and Mary Palmer.
