The Wallace Neff Bubble House is significant as the only surviving example in Southern California of Airform Construction, an experimental construction technique devised between 1934 and 1941 by noted regional architect Wallace Neff as a means of providing mass-produced affordable housing. Neff lived in the house following the death of his brother, the original owner, in 1975.
