Case Study House #10 is sited in the center of the property, with the front elevation oriented toward S. San Rafael Avenue. The house has a horizontal form with a simple shed roof. Although basically horizontal, the house is divided into three levels, following the topography of the site. The house has combed plywood exterior walls and a relatively low level of glazing, with the exception of a floor-to-ceiling textured glass wall near the entry and non-original art glass sidelights flanking the front door. The rear of the house, which is not visible from the street, has a high level of glazing. A garage is attached to the western end of the house. It is the only example from the Case Study House Program (1945-1966) that was built in Pasadena.
